The beginning...

I haven't had a real blog in a long time so it's kind of refreshing to have one again! Really I'm getting one to just people updated on whats going on in my life...and because Kristin got one lol.

I just got back from Passion in good ol' Hotlanta and let me say, it was a life-changing expierience for me! It was incredible to worship with 9,500 other brothers and sisters in Christ. Not to mention being led in worship by Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, and Charlie Hall! Being a music person, I have so much respect for these guys and it was so incredble to be able to hear them play live

Probably the coolest thing that happened at Passion this weekend was God restoring the vision in my life. I have had a really hard time during the last couple of months trying to figure out what I was supposed to do with my life and why I was at Furman/why I was majoring in music and communications. I have always been interested in too many things to really nail down a career and that bothered me. God really answered my questions in a huge and powerful way for me. I would tell you exactly why but It would be really hard to type out right now because it is really like a lifelong plan kind of thing. It is really AMAZING that God was able to answer my questions in such an amazing, powerful, and yet simple way. I really feel like he has been preparing me and several of my friends for this mission our entire lives. I know it's going to be really, really hard but it will be worth it to further the kingdom.

The first part of this mission is going to go live within the next couple of days so whenever that gets up and running, I will post it on here so you can participate and tell all your friends.

This is definitly one of the times where the goodness and grace of God overwhelms me and I cannot even begin to seperate out how grateful I am for that! This seems like a beginning to a very worthwhile journey!
